Statement by NUTRITECH Management
The well-being of our customers, staff and Athletes is our top priority. To limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we encourage customers to where possible avoid public spaces, follow Presidential procedures and shop online.
We are taking additional steps in our NUTRITECH-managed facilities, including working from home, staggered work schedules, social distancing and additional safety and cleaning steps to help protect and support our customers, staff and Athletes.
Our staff have been empowered with relevant information and guided on personal hygiene and preventative measures in our NUTRITECH-managed facilities, as we continue to deliver our services uninterrupted to you. We have equipped our facility teams with hand sanitizers and face masks to mitigate the risk of contracting or spreading the virus.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning in high traffic areas and hand sanitisers have been installed throughout the buildings. We have also implemented the use of infrared contactless thermometers at the entrances to our NUTRITECH-managed manufacturing facility as an preventative measure and our staff are checked on a daily basis.
Our courier companies have also equipped their drivers with hand sanitizers and face masks to mitigate the risk of contracting or spreading the virus.
Drivers have been advised to avoid unnecessary contact with any person they come into contact with and to practise social distancing throughout the collection and delivery of packages.
Should a confirmed case of COVID-19 virus present itself at NUTRITECH, we have a detailed plan in place that guides our response and traceability, based on the advice of the NICD.
